Start-Stop Roll Forming Line Manufacturer
A Start & Stop roll forming line is a highly compact solution in which the roll forming machine also acts as the strip feed system. It performs precise indexing movements with an accuracy of ±0.2 mm and high dynamic performance, stopping the strip beneath the punching tools – typically hydraulic units located upstream of the roll forming section – and beneath the cut-off tool after forming. This principle provides a cost-effective, compact line configuration ideally suited to medium production volumes. At production rates of around 8 parts/min (approximately 7 seconds per part), 6-axis robots can be used to handle and stack the finished parts at the line exit.
